FOSL is excited to announce that we are currently accepting applications for two new opportunities!

Director of Development

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Development is a front-line fund-raiser who creates and executes (in tandem with the Executive Director) a comprehensive development program. This position is responsible for the cultivation of donors & supporters at every level, and for strategically planning and executing the organization’s overall income budget in collaboration with staff and the Development Committee. This position requires the ability to travel throughout the country several times a year and 1-2 times annually to Guatemala. Some weekend and evening work is required. Long-Term Volunteer

With the San Lucas Mission Visitor Program reopening in January, we are looking to recruit a team of motivated Long-Term Volunteers (LTVs)!

The cost of room, board, and transportation to San Lucas is covered by the program; LTVs simply need to get themselves to Guatemala City. Start dates and term lengths are also flexible.

Do you know someone who is:
-Available to volunteer in San Lucas for at least 3 months in 2022?
-Fluent in Spanish (or willing to attend language school before their volunteer term)?
-Approachable, enthusiastic, responsible, and ready to learn?
