Groups and individuals are asked to contribute a minimum donation of $60/day per person, which covers meals, accommodation, transportation (including to and from the airport in Guatemala City), activity fees, and to cover other program and staffing costs. Dates are secured after a down payment is submitted ($300 total for a group of 5+ or $60 per individual). Many visitors will choose to fundraise to cover a portion or all of their travel expenses. Meals & Accommodation
Visitors stay in one of the many hotels in the San Lucas area. We arrange reservations upon your arrival, and all placements are made according to availability. Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are eaten at the Mission. All visitors, volunteers and staff members share meals. WiFi is readily available.

Once availability is confirmed, the next step is to submit a refundable down payment to secure dates ($300 for groups of 5+ or $60 per individual) and complete a program application. Prior to traveling to Guatemala, all Visitors are required to have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and to show a negative test result within 72 hours of travel. While in-country, Visitors are expected to wear masks and socially distance whenever possible. Our main priority is to protect the health and safety of local community members and visitors. Community groups and individuals can begin registering for dates from January 2022 onward.
